Please note:
There is a building under construction next to The Monarch. Due to the advanced stage of construction, guests are not disturbed by any related sounds, however the building is in full view for rooms facing the site. To protect the safety and privacy of guests at The Monarch, a temporary covering has been built over and around the outdoor swimming pool located on the fourth floor of the hotel. Please contact CustomerService@TabletHotels.com if you wish to know anything more specific about this temporary situation.

All the rhetoric about Dubai being the city of the future may seem a bit overblown, but it’s quite possible, at least, that this is where you’ll find the future of the five-star business hotel. One of these days it may even challenge Tokyo as the capital of the skyscraper-bound luxury-hotel world, if they keep on putting up hotels of the Monarch’s caliber.

Despite the unfamiliarity of the name, the Monarch joins some established competition, and quickly asserts itself at the highest level — literally, occupying the top few floors of a some 33-story office tower, and figuratively as well, with comfort and service to match many of the big names. The most basic rooms still come with full-length windows, leather-topped desks, capacious seating areas, an high-end personal entertainment systems, not to mention the vast and indulgent bathrooms.

Meanwhile the two presidential suites would be stretching the limits of luxury, were it not for the Sky Suite and the even more lavish Monarch Suite, which spreads over the 32nd and 33rd floors. Spa treatments, a massive health club, extensive business facilities and a large handful of restaurants and lounges complete the package — if this is the future, it’s going to be a comfortable one.
