Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole

Somehow, at this late date, Jackson Hole remains more or less exactly what the name sounds like: for all the fame, at heart it’s still a rough-edged Rocky Mountain hideaway. Its rugged beauty is still very much intact, but a little bit of the rough has been smoothed away — today it’s a place where, for example, a Four Seasons resort is not entirely out of the question.

Don’t expect a big architectural statement — from the outside the Four Seasons is a perfectly straightforward American ski resort. But inside the trademark elegance takes hold, with guest rooms that are restrainedly Western in style but one hundred per cent contemporary-luxe in function. Gas fireplaces, home theatre systems and spa-like bathrooms with separate showers and deep soaking tubs come standard.

The spa is as lavish as they come, and the restaurants and bars ensure you don’t have to brave the weather just to stay fed and watered. In the summer there’s plenty of hiking and biking to be done, when you’re not by the pool, and in winter, check in with the ski concierge — luxurious accommodations notwithstanding, the Jackson Hole terrain is just as unforgiving as ever.

From Jackson Hole Airport, 32 km - approximately 35 mins.

Jackson Hole Airport is serviced by Delta and United Airlines year round and American Airlines, Northwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines seasonally. Rental cars and taxis are available at the airport and in town. Private cars may be hired to transport guests to the Resort.
